Long County High School was well-represented on the recently announced All-Region 2-AA baseball team.
Outfielder Tristan Goodro and catcher Phillip Swindell were selected to the first team. Both players also have signed letters of intent to play college baseball, with Goodro going to Middle Georgia State College and Swindle signing with Piedmont College.
Blue Tide shortstop Cody Fleck and pitcher Zach Duncan also were recognized for region honors, making the second team.
The Blue Tide finished the season with a 13-13 record.
