The Georgia Ballers won the title at the annual Liberty County Relay For Life Basketball Tournament last weekend. The Ballers defeated Hinesville Dairy Queen, 78-34. H. Glenn Reed, coordinator of the Mission Possible Team of Connection Church that organized the tournament, said the tourney raised $400 for the American Cancer Society.
Reed said the tournament was made possible due to the contributions of Mike Reed and Bootsy Barnes of Mike Reed Chevrolet, Hinesville Dairy Queen, Lazer Light Engraving of Savannah and Liberty County Recreation Department’s Shuman Center’s staff for contributing to the success of this basketball tournament and event.
