After a brief hiatus due to Labor Day weekend, Hurricane Irene and forfeiture by an opposing team on Sept. 24, the Hinesville Hurricanes are set to play at 7 p.m. Saturday night for all the marbles.
Again.
The ’Canes are looking to earn their second straight Southeastern American Football Conference championship ring when they visit Anderson S. C. and take on the Red Dawgs.
The Hurricanes go in at 5-0 and beat the Red Dawgs, 35-19, on July 23. Last year, the Red Dawgs and Hurricanes battled it out for the conference championship, and Hinesville earned a 20-14 win at home.
