The Liberty County Recreation Department’s all-star junior softball team on Wednesday lost its first game in the Georgia Recreation and Parks association state tournament in Vidalia.
The girls lost to Vidalia, 3-2.
The LCRD girls were scheduled to play Carrollton at 6 p.m. Wednesday, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather. The game was moved to Thursday. Results were unavailable at press time.
