The ninth annual Long County Alumni Golf tournament will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville.
There will be two flights in the tournament, with a first-place prize of $300 and a second-place prize of $200 given in each flight.  
Registration for each player is $60. In addition to the two-man scramble awarding prizes, there also will be a prize for the closest to the pin on all par-3 holes. There also will be plenty of door prizes. At the conclusion of play, a barbecue dinner will be served.  
Proceeds from the tournament will fund the Raymond Fulcher and Ray Hollaway athletic scholarships.
