Long County mite all-stars take 2nd
state

The Long County mite boys’ all-star baseball team recently finished as runner-up in the 2013 Georgia Recreation and Park Association district baseball tournament in Screven County, according to Long County Recreation Department Director Michelle Rogers.  
The Long County team lost in the championship game to the Metter All-Stars, 9-7.
“The Long County Recreation Department is extremely proud of this group of players and coaches,” Rogers said. “I would like to thank all of the players and coaches for their dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship.”
Members of the team were Joseph Cammack, T.J. Criswell, Kyle Duncan, Daniel Edwards, Blake Holland, Noah Kuhaneck, Matthew Marchand, Austin Pitts, Trevor Ray, Justin Thomas, Than Williams, and Luke Wells.  Coaches were Joey Edwards, Tommy Holland, John Kuhaneck, Justin Thomas, Dean Cammack and head coach Randy Williams.
