Long County’s 8U, 10U and 12U recreation league baseball teams recently won 2011 championships.
The 8U Fowler’s Auto Team, the 10U Johnson Land Clearing Team and the 12U Georgia Farm Bureau squad all earned championship trophies last week.
Members of the Fowler’s Auto 8U team were Daniel Edwards, Chandler Howard, Zane Rosenbaum, Ethan Williams, Ethan Wells, Trevor Ray, Ron Rhodes, Jalen Villanueva, Luke Wells, Darius Gamble, Carson Roberts, Brandon Rogers and Austin Pitts.  Randy Williams, Eddie Daniels and Carson Wells coached the team.
The Johnson Land Clearing team members were Jordon DeLoach, Rex Johnson, Jared Lynn, Brock Heath, Bryson Heath, Sebastian Riner, Casey McManus, Austin Herdman, Kevin Carman and Kenneth Carman. The coaches for the team were Mark McManus, Brandon McManus and Rat Johnson.
The Georgia Farm Bureau team members were Ethan Dakes, Anthony Olivo, Tripp Stapleton, Brian Lester, Davis Teston, Brandon Nobles, Tanner Meredith, Joshua Gordon, Jake Lauer and Mickey Harrison. The coaches for the team were David Stapleton, Matt Lester, Deon Wells and Donna Gordon.
