According to a news report, Liberty County football player Raekwon McMillan was unable to attend the University of Georgia’s Dawg Night because he had a dental appointment.
But Land Grant Holy Land reported that McMillan will attend Ohio State University’s Friday Night Lights on July 27.
That report was confirmed by another report on ESPN.com
McMillan, a 6-foot-3-inch, 236-pound inside linebacker, is a five-star recruit and rated as the 14th-best prospect in the country, according to 247Sports.com.
McMillan told Land Grant Holy Land reporter Ian Cuevas he was looking forward to Friday Night Lights, “just to be in the Ohio State environment and atmosphere. I’m also looking forward to really getting to know some of my potential future teammates.”
McMillan recently posted a tweet saying “UGA, Ohio State, Clemson are my current leaders,” but followed that immediately with a tweet saying “in no order.”
McMillan told Cuevas he was going to visit Clemson on Wednesday and will probably visit Florida in the near future. McMillan added he still has plenty of time to consider all his offers.
“I will announce my decision at the Under Armour All-American game my senior year,” he told Cuevas. “This is for sure and the announcement date will not change so that I have plenty of time to think about my decision.”
