STATESBORO — Fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2013-14 Georgia Southern men’s and women’s basketball teams this weekend as Meet the Eagles is set for noon-1 p.m. Saturday in the Statesboro Mall’s center court.
According to gseagles.com, TrueBlue posters will be distributed, and the teams and coaching staffs will be available for autographs.
The men’s basketball team returns nine lettermen from a season ago and has added four scholarship student-athletes to this year’s roster. The women’s team returns four starters and nine letterwinners, including four of its top-five scorers from last season.
Season tickets are available for the 2013-14 season. Lower reserved seating for men’s games starts at $90 with upper-level general admission tickets available for $60 for the season. Women’s basketball season tickets are $65. GSU faculty and staff receive a $10 discount on season tickets.

The men’s team opens the 2013-14 campaign at home against Columbia International at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8. The women’s team opens the season Nov. 9 at Auburn and plays its home opener against Jacksonville State at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in a tripleheader with the Eagle volleyball and men’s basketball teams.
