The 10U Merchants traveling baseball team recently won the World Series Tournament on June 1 in Pooler.
The Merchants defeated the Meter Vipers in the championship game.
The Merchants consist of players from Ludowici, Jesup, Odum and Gum Branch.
The World Series Tournament was one of several tournaments the Merchants have won this season, a list that includes championships in Jeff Davis County, Jesup, Brunswick and Garden City.
The Merchants have been selected to play in the 2013 Atlanta Braves Youth Classic Tournament during Labor Day weekend in Atlanta.
