Liberty County High School’s former standout football player Raekwon McMillan earned one last local accolade before starting his college career as an Ohio State Buckeye.
McMillan received the Okefenokee Technical College Defensive Player of the Year award at In the Game magazine’s recent Southeast Georgia High School Football Awards Banquet in Waycross.
The annual event recognizes players and coaches from Southeast Georgia schools for excellence in athletics and academics. For the fourth consecutive year, The Bone and Joint Institute of South Georgia sponsored the event.
