Liberty County High School had a strong goal line stance, caused and recovered a fumble in the final 13 seconds of regulation to secure a 31-0 shutout over Hephzibah at Donell Woods Stadium Friday night. The victory gives the Panthers a 5-0 start, the best of coach Kirk Warner's career, and a reason for the school to celebrate during their Homecoming game.
Bradwell Institute and Effingham County went head-to-head in a defensive low scoring game. In the end the Tigers came out a point shy giving the Rebels a 7-6 victory in Springfield.
Bryan County High School is also off to a 5-0 start with a 54-21 win over the visiting Long County Blue Tide and in Hinesville First Presbyterian Christian Academy couldn't put the brakes on Memorial Day falling 86-6.
