The Scotts All*Stars eighth-grade boys basketball team captured the crown at the Super Regional tournament June 6-7 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Scott’s All*Stars eighth- and ninth-grade boys’ basketball teams claimed wins at the Super Regional tournament June 6-7 in Jacksonville, Florida.
The eighth-grade team continued its strong run by going 4-0 and placing first.  It was the fifth title in seven championship-game appearance for the eighth-graders, who are on 19-game winning streak and have 36-5 overall record. All*Stars founder and coach Marcus Scott said all players on the team have higher than the required 80 grade-point average.
“The eighth-grade team has been so dominant, we will probably let them play ninth-graders until nationals,” Scott said.
Meanwhile in Jacksonville, the ninth-grade team went 2-2 and placed in the tourney’s Final Four.
“It was good to see the ninth-grade team improved,” Scott said.
The All*Stars now will take a break to work with their high schools before nationals in July. All members will perform their monthly community service while on break.
