The county’s football teams play under the big lights again Friday. It’s a pre-season scrimmage, but the community is anticipating the game between Liberty County High School and Bradwell Institute.
The game has changed venue. Originally scheduled to be on Olvey Field, the scrimmage will now take place at 7 p.m. in Donell Woods Stadium at LCHS because of recent construction of a fieldhouse at BI’s field.
According to Jason Rogers, assistant superintendent for administrative services, keeping the game scheduled at Olvey would interrupt construction. Equipment and materials at Olvey would also have to be secured or moved.
Tickets are available for $5 at the schools until noon Friday. Any remaining tickets will be available at the gate.
