Sikes earns GCAA honor

Former Liberty County High School baseball player Trey Sikes was named to the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association All-Region second team.
The current South Georgia State College first baseman was second in the conference with 42 RBIs and tied for second with five home runs. He led the Tigers with a .343 batting average and posted a .978 fielding percentage.
Sikes played in 50 games with 165 at bats, 28 runs, 56 hits and 15 doubles.
