Tiger Touchdown Club hosting golf tourney
The Tiger Touchdown Club is hosting its inaugural golf tournament at 1 p.m. July 20 at the Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville.
All proceeds will benefit the Bradwell Institute football team.
The fee is $50 per person or $200 per four person teams. Hole sponsorships are available for $100. Players will have a chance to win a car with a hole-in-one at a hole to be determined.
Prizes will be awarded to the top four places.

Lady Panthers to start conditioning soon
Liberty County High School’s softball team will start daily conditioning July 29; tryouts will be Aug. 1. Athletes must have physicals and be eligible to play. The Lady Panthers still need softball gloves. Anyone wishing to donate new or used gloves can drop them off at the school’s front office. For more information, call 912-312-0331.

Soccer camp planned in Hinesville
The Hinesville Gators and Atlanta Calcio Academy will hold a soccer camp focusing on Italian strategy and skills.
The camp will be July 8-12 at James Brown Park.
Morning sessions will run from 9 a.m.-noon and are open to ages 6-12. The afternoon sessions run from 4-7 p.m. and are open to ages 13-17.
The camp will be taught by ACA head coach Gavino Asteghene and assistant coach David Sexton, who have 60 years of combined experience training soccer prospects and working as international scouts.
The fee is $150 per player and includes a dry-fit camp T-shirt, tote bag and water bottle.
