The southeast region of “In the Game High-School Sports Magazine” will now include coverage of Liberty County.
“In the Game,” which highlights athletes and schools all over Southeast Georgia, is published by SEGA Prep Sports LLC out of Waycross.
“We cover 12 counties, highlighting the best and brightest student-athletes and coaches from 16 area high schools,” publisher Shawn Smoak said.
Each issue will spotlight a player during the season along with an article about what is going on with the different athletic programs at the schools. The magazine also highlights academic achievements of athletes and looks at the role coaches play in their respective programs. Middle-school players who will make an impact in high school are also featured.
June’s edition will be the first issue with stories about Liberty County schools. Bradwell Institute’s region champion boys’ and girls’ track teams will be featured. Liberty County Panther fans can read about the Panthers workouts and gains during spring football. Each school’s football preview will be in the August issue.
“We are excited about including Liberty County in our coverage area,” Smoak said. “There are a lot of quality student-athletes and coaches, and we look forward to recognizing them inside the pages of the magazine and on our website, www.inthegamemagazine.com.”
“In the Game” is now available at all Flash Food locations in Hinesville and will be available soon at Friendly Express in Walthourville.
