Tide seniors honored during basketball game vs. Metter

The Long County High School senior basketball players and cheerleaders were honored during Senior Night last Friday during their game against Metter at LCHS.
Five members of the boys’ team, six members of the girls’ team and four members of the cheerleading squad were recognized.
For the Blue Tide, Jamaal Anderson (four years on the team) was escorted by his parents, John and Kim Anderson; Josh Berry (four years) was escorted by his mother, Sibley Berry; DeOnte’ Ellis (three years) was escorted by his mother, Tika Halley; David Gilmore (four years) was escorted by his mother, Hazel Gilmore; and Chris LaRochester (four years) was escorted by his grandparents, Curtis and Sarah Berry, and his mother, Dedra LaRochester.
For the Lady Tide, Jacqueline Cisneros (one year) was escorted by her parents, Aurelio and Ines Cisneros; Derissa Crawford (two years) was escorted by her parents, Darla and Eric Crawford; Toni Johnson (two years) was escorted by her
 parents, Connie and Felton Baker; MiKayla Lovett (two years) was escorted by her mother, Sandra Lovett; Raven Rose (four years) was escorted by Lawrence Singh; and Shavonta Turner (four years) was escorted by her mother, Sheryl Turner.
For the cheerleaders, Tiara Anderson (three years) was escorted by her mother, Catina Anderson; Jasmine Calhoun (three years) was escorted by her aunt, Laurina Coley, and grandmother, Shirley Davis; Kirshana Calhoun (four years) was escorted by her parents, Crystal and Kemp Calhoun; and Chandra Southerland (one year) was escorted by her parents, Carmen and Brian Southerland.
