Hinesville boys Deion Stewart and Jekovan Rivera each finished in fourth place at the National Punt, Pass and Kick event held Nov. 28 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

The boys were invited to the national competition after making the cut in the sectional event held on Fort Stewart on Sept. 24.

Stewart competed in the 12-13 age division and Rivera competed in the 6-7 age division. Each of the boys had to go against four other competitors from around the region.

"They both did very well," Deion’s mother Ann Stewart said. "It was a great experience and hopefully one that we’ll be able to compete in again next year."

Afterwards, the boys got to watch the Falcons beat the Packers 20-17.
