The Long County Recreation Department will host three free mini-football camps during August for kids ages 7-10.
The camps will focus on fundamentals of the game and show drills used during practices. All youth planning to play football are encouraged to attend.
The uniform will be shorts, T-shirt and preferably cleats. Water will be provided, and participants will receive certificates and goody bags for completing the camp.
The camps will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 2, 9 and 16 at the LCRD football field. The Recreation Department is at 59 Park Road in Ludowici.
