The Long County 12-under all-star basketball competed Thursday in the Georgia Recreation Parks Association District 2 Tournament in Baxley. In a game that went back fourth for four quarters, Appling County won, 37-28.

Team members were Justin Thomas, Ethan Williams, Chandler Howard, Dominic Roschmann, Anthony Smith, Shaver Ricardson, Anthony Jones, Ameer Pollak, Prince Doomes and Adison Russell. The team was coached by Craig Walker coached the team, and Henry Strickland is the Long County recreation director.
