On Nov. 3, Long County High School recognized those seniors who participated in the football program. Band members were recognized in Sunday’s Courier. Today it is the football players’ turn.
Isaac Abram was escorted by his parents, Denise and Michael Abram. He has been a member of the football team for four years. After graduation, he plans on going to college.
Holden Riddle was escorted by his parents, Gina and Mike Riddle. He has played football for four years. After graduation, he plans on becoming a firefighter and being a part of God’s plan.
Marquese Bacon was escorted by his parents, Sylvia and John Bacon. He has played football for three years. After graduation, he plans on going to college.
Christian Bass was escorted by his parents, Ramada Bass and Bryn Bartusiak. He has played football for four years. After graduation, he plans to further his education and football career in college, and become a pharmacist.
Lorenzo Buckner was escorted by his mother, Laressa Buckner. His father is Tommie Buckner. He has played football for two years. After graduation, he plans to attend college or join the military.
Cody Cox was escorted by his parents, Amy and Cody Cox. He has been a member of the team for three years. After graduation he plans on playing college ball.
Eric Crawford, Jr. was escorted by his parents, Darla Crawford and Eric Crawford Sr. He has played football for four years. After graduation, he plans to attend college, play football, and pursue a degree in pediatric medicine.
Jonathon Elder was escorted by Cheryl and Aubrey Berry. His mother is Janet Elder. He has played football for three years. He plans on attending Clemson University and majoring in studio technology.
Quentin Facen was escorted by his mother, Helen Howard. His father is Larry Facen. He has been a member of the football program for four years. After graduation he plans on attending the University of West Georgia to major in sports administration and physical education so that he can pursue a career as a coach.
Ricardo Flores was escorted by his parents, Adela and Jesus Chavez. This is his first year playing football. After high school, he plans to pursue a career in welding.
M’Kiyah Ta’mar Folston-Anderson was escorted by his parents, Tamara Smith and Shantavis Smith. He has played football for four years. After graduation he plans to attend college and play football while studying to become a dentist.
