Long County team are state champs

The Long County 10U Girls’ All-Star softball team are the 2021 Georgia Recreation and Parks Association Class C, undefeated State Champions.

“Long County is extremely proud of the representation and that there is a bright future for sports in Long County,” Long County Recreation Director Michelle Chambliss said. “None of this would be possible without volunteer coaches.”

According to Ben Crews, an employee at the Recreation Department, the Long County boys’ 10U baseball live pitch team were the state runners up.
