According to a report on Land Grant Holy Land, former Liberty County High School football player Raekwon McMillan was named to the Sports Illustrated’s preseason All-American Team last week.

McMillan, currently Ohio State’s defensive captain and middle linebacker, and teammate Pat Elflein were the only two Buckeyes making the prestigious list for their respective positions.
Just two weeks ago McMillan made the top 10 list to the Big Ten Conference’s preseason list. And last week McMillan was one of the three team captains representing the Buckeyes at the Big Ten Media Days in Chicago.

Last season McMillan was the Buckeyes’ leading tackler with 119 tackles. He was also a finalist for the Butkus Award, an award he won during his high school career. Last season he was also a second team All-American and first team All-Big Ten.
