Former Liberty County and Tennessee basketball player Jordan McRae got his first few minutes on the hardwood during game 3 of the NBA Finals for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors 120-90.

McRae’s teammate Kevin Love was out for concussion protocol after being hit in the head during game 2 in a 110-77 loss in Oakland, California.
That paved the way for McRae, who was placed on the active list and suited up, to play. While McRae didn’t get a chance to hit the court until late in the fourth quarter, he made the best of his three minutes. He hit both of his bucket attempts, scoring four points, and grabbed a rebound.

The Warriors lead the NBA finals 3-2 over the Cavaliers with game 6 scheduled for 9 p.m. Thursday in Cleveland.
