Mitchell, Graham nab awards

Liberty County High School was well represented on the All-Region 3-AAAA boys’ basketball awards, which were announced last week.
Panther sophomore Davion Mitchell and Burke County senior Tristan Hunter were selected as the Region 3-AAAA Players of the Year. Liberty sophomore Richard LeCounte was named to the All-Region first team, while senior Jishaun Harris received honorable mention.
LCHS Panther boys’ head coach Willie Graham was also granted the huge honor of being chosen Region 3-AAAA Coach of the Year.
