Liberty County High School defeated Kendrick High School 92-71 in the first round of the 2017 GHSA AAA State Basketball Tournament. The Panthers advance to the second round where they will take on Coahulla Creek on Thursday Feb 23. The Colts of Coahulla Creek defeated Franklin County 49-45 in their first round game to advance to the second round.
