Panthers pounce on Blue Tide in Homecoming game

The Panthers took the 54-0 win, shutting out their Long County rival. According to maxpreps.com, Dionte Bowens was 10-of-13 for 191 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. Bowen also rushed for 70 yards on 7 carries and another touchdown. The ground game for the Panthers was led by Kris Coleman. He had 112 yards on 10 carries and scored 2 touchdowns.

Panther Jaleel Gilbert had three receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown. Coleman also had two receptions for 54 yards and another Panther TD.

Liberty put up 405 all-purpose yards while holding the Blue Tide to 94.

The liberty squad is 6-2 overall and 2-1 in region play. 

They host Brantley County Friday at 7:30 p.m.
