Patriots knock down Highlanders 54-12

First Presbyterian Christian Academy traveled to Bellville where they fell 54-12 at Pinewood Christian Academy during Friday night's non- conference football game.

The FPCA boys rebounded after being shut out the entire first half. Led by quarterback Dylan Stewart the Highlanders mounted a drive that ate up most of the third quarter clock. The drive culminated with a 10 yard touchdown pass from Stewart to Mike Burnett. Later in the fourth quarter Stewart would find a wide open Burnett in the end zone for another touchdown reception.

But the Patriots' Preston Campbell barreled through the Highlander defense to score most of Pinewood's touchdowns in the game. And a banged up Highlander squad couldn't slow the Patriots' momentum in front of their home fan base.
