Jasmine Blevins said she was born to play basketball.

"I love everything about the sport," said Blevins, a Bradwell Institute junior who played in the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s North-South Basketball Classic in Dalton over the weekend.

Coaches in Region 2-AAAAAA loved Blevins and her game in return, naming her the region’s top player after she helped lead the Lady Tigers to a 20-10 record, a region title and a trip to the Class AAAAAA quarterfinals.

Perhaps the best part for Bradwell fans is this: Blevins, who averaged 19.5 point and nearly five steals a game for BI as a junior, will be back next year.
