Patrick Edwa5ds fired a 5-under 66 to take medalist honors during the Jake Blitz held at Cherokee Rose Country Club last Wednesday. Bob Puckett took home top honors on Saturday under tough conditions to take medal with a 78.
 
Roger Olson at +6 and Amanda Fetzer +10 grabbed points wins during the two rounds.
 
The annual Red, White & Blue Scramble was held on Sunday at the course with the team of Andy Hardin, Alex Westlund, Zack Bloxham, Sid Cupples winning with a score of 54.
 
Cherokee Rose also holds a four-person scramble every Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. Players are invited to show up by 12:30 and will be paired with other participants for the 18-hole scramble.
 
The Cherokee Rose Country Club Jake Blitz is held every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.  Sign up times end at 8:30 am on Wednesday and Saturday with start time at 9:00 am. Sign up time ends at 12:30 pm on Sunday with start at 1:00 pm. Golfers are paired into groups and are on a points system. Course members and the public are invited to play.
