EUGENE, OR -- Hinesville native and University of Oregon senior guard Will Richardson has received two more basketball honors for his play during the 2021-22 regular season.

The latest honors have Richardson being named to the United States Basketball Writers Association District IX All-District Team as well as the National Association of Basketball Coaches District 19 All-District First Team.

Richardson had been named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team, earlier in the month.

During the regular season, he averaged 14.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.3 steals in 30 games (all starts) this season and scored in double-digits in 22 games with seven 20-point games. He also joined the 1,000-point club during the season, joining 36 former Oregon players to achieve this.

Richardson has not participated in post season play thus far, due to a non-COVID-19-related illness.
