Rockets earn six medals

The Southeast Elite Rockets Track Team brought home six medals from nationals, where 1,200 athletes competed in Detroit last month.
Primary girls
Leilynn Arrington, 19th place in the 100-meter dash.
Midget girls
Asyria Daniels, 8th in the long jump, 10th in the pentathlon and 12th in shot put.
Sub-youth girls
Courtney Bennett, 10th in the shot put, 25th in the discus.
Sub-youth boys
Dennis Williams, 4th in the 800-meter dash, 12th in the long jump.
Youth boys
Anthony Holsendolph Jr., 15th in the high jump, 24th in the long jump.
Marsalis Jackson, 2nd in the long jump, 4th in the high jump, 13th in the 400-meter dash.
Intermediate girls
Quintunya Chapman, 4th in the 400-meter dash, 14th in the 800-meter run, 33rd in the long jump, 36th in the 200-meter jump.
Kwajelin Holsendolph, 28th in the high jump, 44th in the 400-meter dash.
Alicia Champion, 16th in the 3000-meter race walk.
Quianika Hatchell, 24th in the 3,000 meter run.
Intermediate boys
Jovan Bennett, 18th in the discus throw.
Solomon Ball, 19th in the shot put.
Young men
Malachi Bell, 17th in the 2000-meter steeplechase, 28th in the 3000-meter run.
Larry Henry, 6th in the high jump.
Shaquille Russell, 16th in the discus.
Trier Bennett 24th in the shot put, 27th in the discus throw.
Aaron Bennett, 26th in shot put, 25th in the discus throw.
