Soccer Tigers outlast Statesboro

The Bradwell Tigers soccer team made it four straight in a long night at Olvey Field.

The Tigers beat Statesboro 3-2 Tuesday in two overtimes, running their win streak to four games. With the victory, Bradwell improved to 10-2-1 overall an 6-2 in Region 1-AAAAA.

Jahdai Prince scored twice and Taeden Ramirez added a goal for the Tigers. Jude Powell and Keith Howard scored for the Blue Devils.

Four different Tigers scored as the Tigers posted a 4-0 win over Ware County last Thursday.

Prince, Ramirez, Santiago Alvarez, and Damon Meyers scored. Robert Freeman made three saves to notch the shutout win.

The Lady Tigers slipped to 5-8 for the season and 3-5 in the region after a 2-1 loss to Statesboro and a 4-2 setback against Ware County.

Makenzie Hamer and Erin Wiggins scored for Statesboro in its win.

Bradwell hosts Greenbrier on Friday and visits Richmond Hill on Tuesday.
