Correction
Two of the Liberty County All-Star Cheerleading teams were misidentified in captions in Sunday’s Courier. The captions for the Midget and Mite teams were inadvertently switched because of an editing error. The Courier regrets the error.

Tybee Run Fest
Registration is open for the 2017 Critz Tybee Run Fest Feb. 3-4. Information can be found at www.critztybeerun.com. Runners can race the North Beach Bar and Grill 5K, the 10K, the Chu’s Half Marathon, the Lighthouse Pizza 2.8-Mile Beach Run or the 1one-mile run, for a combined distance of 26.2 miles — a full marathon. Young runners can join in, too, and show their love for running by participating in the Kiddie Run. For race details, go to the run website or Facebook at www.facebook.com/critztybeerunfest.

MLK 5K Run/Walk
Sigma Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, which was chartered in Hinesville in 2014, will sponsor its first Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 5K Run/Walk on Jan. 7. The start and end point will be at Bradwell Park in downtown Hinesville. Proceeds will help fund scholarships 2017 graduates. Registration will be at the start point that morning at 6:30.
