The Liberty County Armed Services YMCA in Hinesville is launching their annual Giving Campaign with a special class that will have you sweating for a good cause.

On May 18 YMCA Strength and conditioning Fitness Coach Vince Gumataotao will offer a two hour total Boot-Camp class to help raise funds for the annual campaign.

The annual campaign funds make it possible for children, families, seniors, neighbors and others to benefit from YMCA programs and memberships, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Coach Gumataotao said his Boot-Camp classes, “Encourages camaraderie and teamwork and is specifically designed to get you to push yourself further than you ever would on your own.”

Coach Gumataotao said Boot-Camp will offer a high-intensity, full-body workout that targets the major muscle groups of the upper and lower body. He said the program can be tailored for all fitness levels.

“But it is specifically designed to “make it rain” with sweat,” he said.

Gumatatao said multiple boot camp, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and boxing instructors will be on hand to help push participants through the two-hour program.

He added that this special event is his way to share his passion for fitness with the community.

SWEAT for a cause Boot-Camp will run from 10 a.m. until noon. Tickets are $10 and available at the YMCA’s membership desk. Space is limited.
