The No. 3-ranked team in Class AA put the first blemish on the Bradwell Institute girls’ record.
The Thomson Lady Bulldogs squeaked past the Lady Tigers 57-50 Tuesday morning to close out the Joe Greene Invitational at Beach High School.
On Monday, it was a total team effort in a romp over Woodville-Tompkins.
All 11 players on the roster played and each one of them registered at least two points in a 63-29 rout in the opener of the Joe Greene.
Parris Parham led the way with 14 points, adding five rebounds, four assists and six steals. Jordyn Rogers scored 13 points and came up with six steals.
Raliyah Rivers, Ty’Tyana Anderson and Maya Holloman each had six points for the Lady Tigers, who ran their record to 4-0.
The Lady Tigers, ranked No. 8 in Class AAAAA, opened with a 19-2 run and led 42-9 at the half.
The Lady Tigers ran to 3-0 with a 67-55 win over Calvary, outscoring the Lady Cavs 23-6 in the second quarter to take control.
Anderson poured in a team-high 20 points and added six rebounds and three assists. Parham notched a double-double, accounting for 19 points and 12 rebounds. Parham also had four assists and three steals.
Rogers scored 10 points to go with seven rebounds and five steals, Jamia Ousley had five points and seven steals and Ja’Nya Bush scored six points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
The Lady Tigers will visit Groves on December 3 and Calvary on December 7 before returning home to face Beach on December 14.
