The Liberty County Thunder 13U baseball team recently qualified for the state championships. The tournament will be June 18-20 on the outskirts of Atlanta.

The boys qualified for state by finishing second in Statesboro last weekend. The team will wrap up its season during the July 4 weekend, playing in Atlanta at the Smoltz-Grissom Wood Bat Classic.
