The Long County High School football team lost to Tattnall County 50-0 on Friday in Reidsville.

The Blue Tide couldn’t seem to get their offense in gear, and they were no match for the Battle Creek Warriors’ running attack.

With the region loss, the Tide’s record dropped to 0-5 overall and 0-4 in Region 2-AA. The Warriors have a 4-1 overall mark and a 2-1 record in the region.

The standings in Region 2-AA now have Charlton County (4-0-1) and McIntosh County (4-1) on top with 3-0 records, followed by Appling County (5-1) and BC (5-1) at 3-1, and then Brantley County (4-1) and Tattnall County (4-1) rounding out the top six with 2-1 marks.

Jeff Davis (1-5), Long County (0-5) and Pierce County (0-6) are still winless in the region.
