The Bradwell Institute soccer teams are playoff bound.

The Lady Tigers are currently 10-7 overall and 2-6 in their region according to stats posted on Maxpreps.com.

The Lady Tigers made the playoffs after beating Brunswick on April 9, 3-2 in overtime at Hokey Jackson Stadium.

Freshman Emily Hause, sophomore Makayla Robinson and sophomore Madison Steyer each scored a goal in the game.

Hause had 15 saves on goal, Robinson had six and Steyer had 10 in the matchup in a long gamed delayed several times by lightning.

Robinson, Andrea Lopez, Steyer and Sarah Hause have made the Region All-Star team. The Lady Tigers will pay at Long County this Thursday to close out the regular season. The game is at 7 p.m.

The Tiger boys are at 4-10-3 in the season and 2-6 in region action, based on Maxpreps.com. The Tiger boys also handed Brunswick a 3-0 loss April 9. The boys play at Long County at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The Long County Blue Tide baseball team completed a sweep of next county region foes Liberty County on Friday, March 21. The team needed a late game surge from its offense to pull away from the Panthers 5-1 as they ended the night with a celebration of their senior class.
