The Bradwell Institute boys basketball team shot 50% from the floor and opened the SCCPSS Holiday Classic with a 60-36 win over Jenkins on Friday.

But cold shooting from the free throw line did in the Tigers in a 71-67 loss to Windsor Forest on Saturday, as the Tigers made just 9 of 21 foul shots.

Zi’on Thomas scored a game-high 21 points to lead Bradwell in their loss to Windsor. Jordan Stevens scored 16 and Chris Perry added 15. Stevens finished with a double-double, collecting 11 rebounds, and Tyon Jones handed out eight assists.

Landon Page led the Knights with 18 points and Sean Caballero added 17.

Stevens had a double-double in the win over Jenkins, scoring 14 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Thomas led the way with 18 points, and Jaylin Sweat scored 12 points. Sweat also had eight rebounds.

Bradwell opens the Hoopin at the High on December 27 at 5:30 p.m. against McIntosh County Academy and also will face Griffin and New Hampstead in the tourney.

The Tigers return to their home floor January 4 against Liberty County.
