The Bradwell Tigers boys basketball team ran its region record to 5-0 with a resounding win over Glynn Academy on Tuesday.

The Tigers downed the Red Terrors 84-41, going to 15-4 on the season and staying unbeaten in Region 1-AAAAA. The win was the fourth straight for Bradwell.

Four different Tigers finished in double figures, and Bradwell shook off an early charge from South Effingham to claim an 89-54 win.

The Mustangs led 22-20 in the first minute of the second quarter before the Tigers took command with a 21-1 run.

Zi’on Thomas had 21 points to lead all scorers and Jaylin Sweat added 19 while Chris Perry finished with 14 and Felix chipped in 10 points. Thomas notched a double-double with 10 rebounds, and Fortune Hicks scored nine points. Elijuwon Hale had six points, five assists and four steals.

Three Mustangs finished in double figures, with Landyn White getting a team-high 14 points. Warren Roundtree scored 12 and Michael Hall finished with 11 points.

The Tigers visit South Effingham on Friday and return to Brunswick on Saturday to face Brunswick High. They finish the home regular season Jan. 31 against St. Andrew’s and wrap up the regular season February 3 at Statesboro.
