Tigers place five on all-region first team

Jacobi Pasley was one of five Bradwell Institute Tigers named to the all-Region 1-AAAAA first team by region football coaches.

The Bradwell Institute Tigers placed eight players on the all-Region 1-AAAAA football team for 2025, with five Tigers earning first team honors.

Junior quarterback Jahbarri Felix was named to the first team, sharing those honors with Effingham County’s Tucker Perkins, junior receivers Jakobi Pasley and Carlito Savea also were named to the first team.

Felix threw for 1,733 yards and 18 touchdowns, completing 118 of 191 passes. He also ran for 388 yards and two scores. Pasley had 25 catches for 430 yards and six touchdowns, and Savea caught 28 passes for 454 yards and five scores.

Junior offensive lineman Cameron Perry was placed on the first team, and senior defensive lineman Jerome Delaney earned first-team honors.

Placed on the all-region second team were junior running back Cameron Keeve, senior receiver Dawahyne Chatman and senior offensive lineman Marcellus Brown.

Brunswick quarterback Grant Moore was chosen as the region player of the year, and Brunswick’s Garrett Grady was selected as coach of the year. Statesboro’s Keon Childers was named region offensive player of the year, and Glynn Academy senior linebacker Cooper Reiss was named defensive player of the year. Special teams player of the year went to Glynn’s Patrick Coyle, and Brunswick’s Heze Kent, a 6-foot-6, 300-pound tight end, was named athlete of the year.
