Tigers rebound after loss to MCA Bucs

Chris Perry led four Tigers in double figures, and the Bradwell Institute boys basketball team bounced back from Friday night’s loss to McIntosh County Academy with a 70-62 win over Griffin.

Perry had 17 points, while Zi’on Thomas and Jaylin Sweat each had 13 and Keon Grant finished with 12. As a team the Tigers shot 53% from the floor.

Perry also had 12 rebounds and six assists, and Thomas added six boards and four assists.

The Tigers shot just 36% from the floor in a 6053 loss to MCA on Friday night.

Perry led the way with 17 points, and Jordan Stevens added 16 points, registering a double-double with 13 rebounds. Kohlmin Nelson scored nine and Sweat chipped in seven points.

The Tigers, 10-3 on the season, played New Hampstead on Monday night to end the tournament in Brunswick. They will visit Beach on Friday night and host Liberty County on Saturday.

Bradwell returns to Region 1-AAAAA action January 7 at Glynn Academy.
