Bradwell Institute’s track teams defeated Beach, Bethesda and Brunswick to sweep the 4th Annual Tiger Relays Track Meet on Saturday.
Men’s coach DeAndre Davis was impressed with the young team’s results
“The kids really stepped it up this weekend. This meet really gave us a chance to see what some of our other kids could do,” Davis said.
Cedric Golphin won the high point award for the boys while A’Bravion Felder and Kailey Brough tied for high points for the girls team.
The Lady Tigers have been inproving every week and are loaded with talent. They will travel to Richmond Hill on Thursday and the boys are competing against Statesboro on Saturday. Richmond Hill is the only team the Bradwell Tigers have not gone up against this year. While
Richmond Hill will be a competitive meet, the key to success for this year’s team has been accountability.
“We cannot wait to see what the boys and girls do at the regional, sectionals and state meets. These kids hold each other accountable,” Davis said. Bradwell will host the Region 2-AAAAAA meet April 18.
