Time, network set for Eagles opener vs. WVU

STATESBORO — Georgia Southern will open its second season of Football Bowl Subdivision play under the lights of Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown as the Eagles take on West Virginia at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5.
The contest will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Net (FSN, Hinesville cable channel 30) and Root Sports — Pittsburgh.
It will be Georgia Southern’s first meeting against West Virginia and the Eagles’ first matchup against a Big
12 Conference opponent.
Fox Sports Net includes 22 regional networks and reaches 71 million homes on average across the country.
Root Sports, the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins, and the network reaches 3.3 million households across five states.
