The trio of Josh Olson, Patrick Edwards and Ronnie Brown captured medalist honors during the Jake Blitz held at Cherokee Rose Country Club this past week.

Olson took Wednesday’s round with a 2-under 69 with Edwards firing a 1-over 72 and Brown with an even par 71 on Saturday and Sunday.

Top point winners were Wayne O’Shine with +11, Jerry DeLoach +7 and Ed Dean at +6.

Results from the Cherokee Rose Country Club Jake Blitz is held every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.  Sign up times end at 8:30 am on Wednesday and Saturday with start time at 9:00 am. Sign up time ends at 12:30 pm on Sunday with start at 1:00 pm. Golfers are paired into groups and are on a points system. Course members and the public are invited to play.
