TYBEE ISLAND — The 2010 Tybee Island Beach Bum Weekend is Friday and Saturday. This year’s festivities include a parade and an EVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour.

The Extreme Volleyball Tour and the Greater Savannah Sports Council have partnered to host the EVP Savannah Open on Tybee Island. The Beach Bum Parade is at 6:30 p.m. Friday. The volleyball tour and Savannah Open are from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday on Tybee’s South Beach. The events are free to the public.

The Savannah Open will be featured on the Beach Sports Network in a 30-minute show format that highlights the competition and location. The show will air throughout the summer on regional sports networks across the country. For more information, go to www.EVPTour.com or www.TybeeVisit.com.
