The Long County Middle School soccer team won its second-straight Southeast Georgia Middle School Championship with a 4-0 win over Ware County on March 28 in Jesup.
The Wildcats ended their season with a 10-2 record. Over the last three years, LCMS has won 30 games and made it to the final every year.
Members of the team were Alberto Duenes, Anthony Betancio, Acsel Mendoza-Garcia, Cameron Key, Chris Cummings, Corey Taylor, David Anderson, Fernando Esquivel, Ismael Franco, Jan Chavez, Jorge Maldonaldo, Jose Navares, Julio Garcia, Mark Rosas, Michael Morales and Sanford Davis. The Wildcats were coached by Charlene Brown, and the team manager was Brandon Maerrero.
