Liberty County YMCA’s gymnastics team placed well at the Summitt Endless Summer Classic last weekend in Savannah.
According to the team’s gymnastics coordinator and coach Judy Bailey, the level two gymnasts placed second overall in team scores. The level three competitors placed first and second for overall vault.
Brooklyn and Bliss Brunhoeber, Kylie Costello, Chiante Gomes and Elizabeth Gilbert were the level two overall winners.
In level three, Hannah Blocker placed first in the vault and third overall. Aubrey Poole finished second in the vault and seventh overall. Alexis Santiago placed 10th overall.
Bailey said level four gymnasts N’Kiya Freeman placed eighth overall and Ahmone Settles finished third in vault and seventh overall.
The YMCA gymnastics team will compete next weekend in the Riverstreet Classic in Savannah.
